Free Internet Radio

Internet Radio is term used for streaming audio across the Internet, Internet Radio is nothing new in fact it started back in 1993 with "Internet Talk Radio" with Carl Malamud. Today there are thousands of Internet stations from talk radio, instructional, religious and music of every kind.

While there are many applications that allow you to "tune in" to internet radio one of the older popular ones is Winamp. When Winamp was first brought it out it was new and innovated free product by nullsoft, later nullsoft was purchased by AOL (America Online), many stopped using Winamp then because they believed it was becoming bloat ware. Soon after one of the creators of Winamp left AOL due to differences in the direction Winamp was headed.

Since then many internet radio applications have been created, but most are spyware or adware type programs. We have found one that we think is the best, called WebGoRadio you can get it for free at http://www.webgoradio.com

Once you have an internet radio program such as WebGoRadio you can tune in to 1000's of stations, don't worry if you don't know where to find the stations good Internet Radio software will have a built in "tuner" guide of stations. If you love 80's music check out Club 977, if you want news there is National Talk Radio and BBS World News you can listen to, country, rap, hip-hop, heavy metal, rock and many other genres are available for your listening pleasure.

Internet Radio is completely free for the most part and crystal clear.
